Morning Sunshine & A Smaller Market Bag

Oh how I love the way the morning sun streams into my studio.

On this particular morning, the sun provided the  perfect light as I work on making a smaller version of my Pleated Market Bag.

After much delay (and a little procrastination), I finally had the chance to use the sage/beige linen fabric that I purchased from one of my fabric shopping adventures a few months ago.

And I have to say I that I love the look of this smaller version, as I think it will make a perfect summer accessory for your summer dresses or with a great pair of shorts.

Now while I do say it's smaller, it's still roomy enough to carry all your stuff..but to give you a better idea of the size of this Linen Market Bag:

The top opening is 101/2"; the bottom length is 12"; it's body height: 12 1/2" and comes with a adjustable strap that goes from 26" - 47" in length.

March, Marches On...

March is nearly over and I have been fortunate that there has been an  upswing in sales of my Messenger Bag in Brown Canvas. A huge thanks to all my customers for making this such a busy month.  This week I am feeling especially rushed, as I am trying to finish another messenger bag order that came in over the weekend and I leave for vacation on Thursday.  Ha, and I still haven't packed and wanted to post a few more items in my shop, but perhaps when I return.

Pleated Shoulder Bag - Dark Gray with White and Black Drawn Flowers

A great everyday bag, large enough to carry more than your essentials. A heavy weight cotton canvas fabric in dark gray, the design by Linda Svensson has white and black drawn flowers and leaves; this single pleated shoulder bag is fully lined with a coordinating black cotton fabric. The color palette consists of gray, black, olive, white and orange. The interior has a large split deep pocket, a great place to keep your blackberry, cellphone, keys or other important items and is finished with a magnetic snap to keep your items safe. Personal Mantras

Last weekend I completed two new pendants which will be part of the Personal Mantra Collection.


The first "Trust your Judgement & Keep the Faith" is a charm cut from brass sheet, given texture and then each letter is individually hand stamped. The charms is attached with a closed brass jumpring to gold-filled chain.
